The Thorold Co-operative Nursery School Inc. provides a variety of physical, mental and social activities in a relaxed, non-structured environment; that nurtures the child's well-being, feeling of belonging, while encouraging self-expression and engagement with others in a safe and stimulating environment. We are licensed and regulated by the Province of Ontario and staffed by qualified teachers (graduates of accredited E.C.E programs).

The Thorold Co-Operative Nursery School Inc. (TCNS) program strives to deliver stimulating learning experiences in an environment that promote the health, safety, nutrition and well-being of all children. This is the foundation of quality child care.
This enhancement happens throughout a child's daily routine which incorporates a balance of indoor and outdoor play, as well as active play and quiet time giving consideration to the individual needs of the children.Children flourish in all areas of development when they are in a supportive, caring environment and have positive and responsive interactions among the other children, volunteers, students and staff.

Rena is a Registered Early Childhood Educator with an additional two years of child and youth studies at Brock University. In 1990, she was the driving force behind the relocation of the school to its current facility. Today, we continue to enjoy the beautiful facility and exceptional programs offered by TCNS.
