Commercial Locksmith Services
We provide comprehensive commercial security solutions including high-security lock systems, master key configurations, and access control installations. Our technicians handle hardware upgrades, automatic door operators, and barrier-free washroom kits to meet building codes and enhance workplace safety. With partnerships like Mul-t-lock, we deliver tamper-resistant systems that protect businesses while offering key duplication control.
Residential Locksmith Services
Our residential services focus on securing homes through lock rekeying, deadbolt installations, and high-security lock upgrades. We stock Taymor and Emtek products for durable, stylish door hardware while offering emergency lockout assistance. Technicians also program automotive keys and fobs, ensuring homeowners maintain access control for both vehicles and properties.
High-Security Lock Systems
Mul-t-lock high-security systems form the core of our premium lock offerings, featuring pick-resistant, bump-resistant, and drill-resistant designs. These systems include patented key control technology to prevent unauthorized duplication, ideal for businesses and homeowners seeking enhanced protection against break-ins and key fraud.
Master Key Systems
We design master key systems allowing property managers to control access across multiple locks with tiered key permissions. This solution enables owners to maintain master access while issuing restricted keys to tenants or staff, reducing security risks during personnel changes without full lock replacements.
Emergency Lockout Services
Our emergency services address urgent lockouts for homes and businesses, available outside regular hours. Technicians respond promptly to regain access without damaging doors or locks, ensuring minimal disruption while restoring security for clients facing unexpected access issues.

I would highly recommend Cote Lock Services to anyone. They really went above and beyond. I had some questions about my new lock after it was installed, and not only did they answer all my questions, they even sent someone out to ensure I was fully satisfied with my purchase. Its rare to find a business that cares so much about their customers.

I came home at 5 pm on Friday to find my key to the front door no longer worked. I got in through the garage, but, as a single occupant, couldn't leave the next day without leaving a door open. I began calling locksmiths at 8 am on a summer Saturday morning, and one of the Cote smiths (Ben) was first to respond. He arrived 15 minutes ahead of the time he had named, cured the problem in short order, addressed another pr.oblem with the same door while there, and charged a reasonable price. His good work turned a potential crisis into as pleasant experience as possible. I would recommend

After seeing 3 Canadian Tires, and a Home Hardware, I came to this place to make a copy of a garage key that seemed impossible to copy. In literally 90 seconds of showing up, Amanda was cutting a key. I needed 2 and I tested them immediately when I got home. Both worked flawlessly. For sure my go to place for key making. I'm in Guelph but will come out of my way to come here. Amazing service...Thank You!

Contacted Cote Lock Service for a second re-keying job after they originally re-did all my locks at a residential home in Kitchener (2nd one was in Guelph). Had to get 3 doors re-keyed (locks were different for all 3 doors), they we're able to do it and provide us with an extra amount of keys that we requested. One of our locks/doorknobs in the garage was broken - they were able to replace it during the process! Friendly and professional service - everything was done properly, on time and for an extremely reasonable price. If you're a home owner and want to change your locks I would highly recommend

I used them when we moved into our new house. They rekeyed 2 locks. The service was fast and efficient. However our garage lock which we have used maybe 10 times has broken. We can no longer use it. We contacted the company and they started since it has been 3 years since it was rekeyed it is no longer covered by warranty. Very disappointing.
