Sport Medicine Physicians may order imaging modalities such as X-rays, ultrasound, and MRI to help clarify a diagnosis. Once a diagnosis is established, treatment strategies can be implemented. Injections provide a targeted approach to treatment. Injections like PRP, prolotherapy, and tenotomy are used to enhance tissue regeneration.

Physiotherapists

Ken graduated from the University of Alberta physiotherapy program in 2016 and has been fine-tuning his practice in the orthopedic setting since. He is trained in biomedical dry needling and spinal manipulative therapy but finds these passive treatments alone rarely will get a client back to their occupational or recreational sport successfully.
Massage Therapists

Born and raised in Italy, where he also earned his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology graduating on the Dean's list in Sicily, Rocco's Canadian journey started almost 4 years ago. He obtained his 2200-hour Massage Therapy diploma here in Calgary.
Rocco uses a variety of therapeutic techniques such as deep tissue, myofascial cupping, trigger point release and PNF, to treat soft tissue injuries and dysfunctions, and for overall maintenance and performance.Rocco loves learning about the functional movements of the human body.
