My name is Helga. I'm a portrait photographer, the owner of Helga Himer photography and Studio H photo studio in Sudbury, Ontario. With over 13 years of experience as a professional photographer, international instructor, safety certified, and accredited newborn photographer, you can take comfort in the knowledge that your most precious moments will be preserved, and your little treasure will be safe.

Studio H is conveniently and centrally-located close to Downtown Sudbury, with easy access and plenty of parking. The Studio is found in a residential area, with lots of love and work, we transformed the dilapidated structure into the oasis which we call Studio H. This private, one-of-a-kind boutique studio, is spacious and specifically appointed for your portraiture needs.

Your pregnancy is a unique time in your life. No two pregnancies are alike, and we love to celebrate the ever-growing bellies. When coming to your maternity session, you can come as you are and be wrapped and draped in our fabrics, or choose from a collection of wonderful maternity wear. You are also welcome to bring something of your own.

Newborn sessions are ideally held within 5 to 14 days after birth; this is when babies are generally sleepier and more co-operative, allowing us to capture those beautiful sleeping poses. After about two weeks old, they are more likely to be disturbed while sleeping and are more prone to colic, and baby acne may begin to flare up.
