A huge thank you to Sunik for the outstanding service and quality install. We were fortunate to have Marcus assigned as lead estimator to handle our Hail damage claim. I was connected with Sunik roofing through my insurance company and have been working with them over the last few months to repair the major hail damage on my house. Ive had such a wonderful experience with everybody that Ive dealt with so far. From the start with Marcus, he was absolutely amazing at addressing all my concerns and was extremely thorough and professional, while doing all of the assessments of my home. He was also very honest. Hes always prompt with his response and made me feel comfortable. Ive also been dealing with Tina who is an absolute pleasure to speak to both on the phone and through emails although theyve been completely swamped shes always made sure to give me reasonable timelines and get back to me while also being kind. The Sunik team was extremely helpful and provided a lot of information and support for me and my family to be informed with how best we can repair our roof and home exterior damage. Even though we ultimately decided to follow the recommended company from our insurance company (mainly for ease of managing cost risks amid these difficult economic times, and more simplicity with the insurance company being involved), Sunik Roofing was extremely patient with us and all of our questions. They were very objective and advocated that we choose whatever option/company made the most sense to us, no hard feelings! Excellent experience with Sunik for our new roof. Kevin's crew was very professional, completed the job quickly, did an amazing clean up all around the house, and the roof work is top notch. Follow up inspection from Nicholas was excellent, and he made time to answer all of my questions even though he is very busy with many jobs. Final touch ups by Sheldon were also done on a timely and professional basis. I wouldn't use anyone else.

On April 24, 2024 Brad and Sheldon visited our house to replace the dryer vent on our roof. Initially, we believed that the vent was causing the issue of lint buildup and poor ventilation. However, I want to express my gratitude for their honesty and professionalism. They explained to us that the vent itself was not the problem and there was no need for a replacement, as it would yield the same performance. I highly recommend Sunik Roofing for their honesty, trustworthiness, and their excellent work on roofing projects.

Sunik roofed our home about 15 years ago when the original shingles had passed 25 years of service. When the hail pounded our neighborhood this past July, on the advice of our insurance agent, we called them for an assessment and estimate. For the past couple of months weve watched nearly every house in the neighborhood getting a new roof and/or siding, and its clear that not all roofing companies are created equal. We saw projects drag on for days, shoddy workmanship, crews with zero consideration for neighbours - often accompanied by loud, annoying Intrusive music.
Sunik is on the other end of the spectrum- Customer service was excellent, the required siding took part of one day. The roofing on the house and the garden shed was begun, completed and the site cleaned up - all within 10 hours.
We cant imagine hiring any other company.

My wife and were reroofing our garage when rain threatened. Kevin and his crew were working across the street took it upon themselves and quickly came over and offered their help to close it in and also installed some shingles. They were very fast, polite, hard working and produced quality work. I would recommend Kevin and his team for your roofing project. This company was delayed due to rain and finished our roof in one day. The crew (of 10) worked like crazy all day and were so pleasant. The clean up was outstanding and I have high standards. The bin was removed when they said it would be, they cleaned again and later that day the final inspection was done and one last clean up. They kept us in the loop to when they were coming so I could arrange to work outside the home. The quality of tile we got was awesome and they were one of best priced companies. I would highly recommend Sunik roofing to anyone. I was very impressed!!!

While we ultimately went for a different company for our specific install, I wanted to point out that I was very happy with the estimate. Sunik was one of the few companies that actually sent someone out to inspect the roof in person. They also took a lot of time to explain the process and answer all questions - of which I had a lot as a first-time home owner. 2 years ago, I was looking to update my roof. Sunik was the only company that didn't try to upsell me, or say I needed immediate repairs. They told me I could wait, so this year I made sure to call them.
It didn't stop there either, they told me which options were and weren't right for my house, and didn't try to push the most expensive choice.
I am confident that I got great work and great value because of this.

Marcus and Sunik Roofing put together a team of professionals that did an amazing job of repairing hail damage to our home sustained last July. Timely advice from Marcus led to a successful rebate from the City of Calgary's Resilient Roofing Program and we were also able to upgrade our siding to a more resilient siding as well. Our insurance provider reduced the cost of our premium as a result! In summary, we are grateful to Marcus for looking after all the details that transformed our home being damaged and susceptible to being damaged to being aesthetically impressive and storm ready..

We had our roof replaced by Sunik Roofing about eight years ago and we wanted to have it checked, particularly for popped nails, vent flashing's, chimney flashing, skylights and for weathering on the crown tiles. Sunik sent Marcus. who came out to the house in less than a week and he was fantastic. He not only gave us a verbal report, but he fixed, ( nailed, chalked) what need to fixed and touched up but also sent us picture of where the repairs were needed. I can't say enough good things about Sunik - they really care about their customers and that you are happy with the quality of their work.

I contracted with Sunik to replace the roof on my 1959 bungalow and detached garage. Given the scale of hail damage in Calgary this summer, very few contractors bothered to return my requests for quotations. Sunik stood in sharp contrast to that, and the company owner dropped by himself to provide an estimate. His estimates on the time required to bring in the shingles and then schedule a crew were accurate. After we scheduled the job, the crew showed up on time first thing in the morning and immediately got to work. The replacement of both roofs, including re-sheeting of the garage, was complete within the day other than some minor finishing work that they completed the next afternoon. I was impressed with the focus and professionalism of the crew at every stage. They did an excellent job executing the work and keeping the yard free of debris. I would not hesitate to recommend Sunik Roofing to anyone looking for a reliable, responsive contractor.

Sunik has been managing the work on our place from last year's hailstorm.
I got to thinking that I could have managed this myself and maybe, just maybe saved a few hundred bucks but with the repair boom on now from all the storms recently getting ANY trade is difficult never mind trying to source good ones.
Sunik's crews for siding, facia, paint, windows and more have been professional, competent, courteous and forthright. I'm so impressed how able they are to deliver absolute top notch services in probably the busiest time in the Calgary area in years.
It's really easy to have difficulty dealing with trades in good times never mind now. Thanks Sunik, you guys are truly above the crowd.

We had our SIDING removed & replaced by Sunik and the crew of Wade, Kaidan, Ralph, Joseph. The crew was great to work with, clean and tidy. And attention to detail was the best! I came back this second time to complete a re-roofing of my garage; the first time using Sunik was 8 or 9 years ago following a severe windstorm that took off much of the house's original roof.
What really impressed me this second time is that Marcus remembered that original job from years ago as we discussed the new roof for the garage.
Tina was super quick in responding before and after the job was completed and Roland and his co-worker were great in getting the job done and they left the site nice and tidy.
I will recommend them to others and will use them for any roofing needs that may arise in my future.

After receiving a great personal referral, we selected Sunik Roofing to replace the roof of our bungalow. Lowell was extremely responsive and exceptionally knowledgeable about how best to replace our roof. The quote was timely and very reasonable. Then, all of the additional people at Sunik etc we interacted with were also great - from the picker truck operator who dropped off the shingles (and literally threaded a needle through the trees on our front yard) to the crew that showed up to execute the job. They worked strategically around the weather perfectly. They cleaned up with incredible detail and the result looks great. This is a totally professional operation and I would definitely go with them again.

We desperately needed a new roof & fast. Nicholas gave us a quote, patiently answered our questions, & made sure we had ALL the information to make decisions on what shingle we wanted. The crew came out & worked tirelessly in rotten weather. They were polite & worked hard. We have a very steep roof & the crew worked like they were on level ground!
At the end of it all the cost was *exactly* what Nicholas had told us. There was no shock when the bill came in.

They were easy to contact and came out for a free quote within a few days of my first call. The quote was extensive, all encompassing prompt and informative with several price and material options that they took time to go over with me. They even took pictures of my roof to identify problem areas. Once the work started, they were prompt, organized, as quiet as they could be and they left the yard clean aside from two nails. I paid over the phone and received all warranty information via the mail a few days later. The roof looks great. So happy with their work as well as how safely they worked. I would highly recommend.

Given their BBB ranking and consecutive customer satisfaction awards, I didn't bother calling the references they provided. I hired Sunik to do the job and I would recommend these guys to anyone. They started Sunday and finished up early Monday afternoon, reroofing our home. The job was professionally done, and so clean that if not for the ladders and hoses, you might not have known we had work going on there.
I am very impressed with Sunik, and very glad I hired them. On a separate note, I found their people very friendly and easy to talk to.
Overall, I had a great experience with Sunik, and would hire them again in a heartbeat.
