Incredible price and incredible customer service. Most places I called were quoting me 15K for an engine swap without a warranty. They gave me a quote for 10K and I have a 3 year warranty on the engine. They also did the whole swap in like 3 days, so I was back on the road in no time!

London bridge auto exceeded my expectations, the team went above and beyond to make sure my vehicle was fixed the right way with the correct part, they even let me know what to expect as far as my check engine light and why it would come back on an the amount of time I would see the light come back on. They were fast, efficient, very thorough and explained everything so I could understand. The cost for labor and parts was very reasonable and they do military discounts. I brought my children with me and they had a selection of toys that the kids were able to play with. They even gave my son a hat which bubba loved . I was very cautious about taking my vehicle to a shop because of past experiences with other places. Hands down I will not go anywhere else for now on. When I called to make the appointment and asked for a quote, they were up front from the beginning with all of the options from best case to worst case scenario. They scheduled my appointment in a very timely manner. When I dropped off my vehicle they gave me a time frame of when it would be finished. Well to my surprise they were finished earlier than expected and went through everything they had completed. The best experience in a shop in this area. Ive been coming here for about 6 months now and have reached the point where I entrust them with my 4Runner completely. So far, theyve handled all my routine maintenanceoil changes, alignments, tires, and state inspectionswith total professionalism.
What really sold me was when I brought in my Moms Jeep. Another shop had given her a long list of 'recommended' upsells, but the team here broke down exactly what was actually necessary and what wasn't. They even gave us a printed copy of work that might be needed in the future so we could plan for it. Their honesty saved us a lot of money and stress.
The communication here is hands down the best Ive ever seen in an auto shop. They are incredibly courteous and the lockbox for after-hours pickups is a lifesaver if you cant get there before they close. 10/10I 100% trust this shop!

Tyler and his crew gave EXCELLENT service. From meeting the price he quoted for a major repair to handling some minor issues while performing the Virginia state safety inspection that nearly any other shop Ive been to would have nickel and dimed me for and taken the $40 I was charged for the inspection and replacing a fog light bulb to well over $100 anywhere else. All in all my experience was fantastic. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for good service and fair prices. Thanks for everything, Tyler. Kudos to you and your crew!

They did a fair job for the price they charged. It will not be top of the line parts but basic good parts. I had a recommendation by a chain to fix all my brakes but they told me I only needed the rear brakes fixed and the front can wait 6-12 months. So I think they are decent and fair. I am going to trust them with my car issues in the future instead of chains.
Edit: I had a problem with a windshield wiper they installed 2 weeks ago and they fixed it very fast with no charge. I think it was just a faulty wiper, no fault of the person who installed it originally. Jack was very friendly as well. Thank you!

Came in for a transmission issue , and though they couldn't locate the problem there while they had it they were very communicative. The problem with my transmission still exists , so nothing accomplished there.
They changed a PCV valve for me and that with the diagnostic went + $250.
That's a little disappointing , honestly.
Then when I was home the next day , discovered the remote start wasn't operational. It was before I took it in.
Overall a "meh" experience.
Been there before , with far better results.

I brought my vehicle in due to damage from a flood. I needed an engine replacement, which I was nervous about but they explained everything to me and I felt like my vehicle was in good hands after that. They kept in contact with me regarding the claim and were very helpful with the insurance company and getting this resolved in a timely manner! After a couple of weeks of trouble shooting and replacing parts, I eventually diagnosed a blow head gasket in my V6 Grand Cherokee. Speaking with Tyler, he gave me pricing and explained he wanted to run a few tests based on his experience before moving forward with an engine replacement. Once he had the jeep, he quickly confirmed the blown head gasket and we ordered the replacement engine. Communication was top tier, professional, and his team worked quickly and held true to their schedule. The prices were about 5-10% higher than some of the other quotes that I received, but everything about this process makes it worth paying more. I have piece of mind knowing that quality work has been done and that they will stand by their work. I plan to continue to use their services whenever theyre needed!

5 Stars Just Aint Enough
Massive shoutout to the crew at London Bridge Auto and Transmission Repair in Virginia Beach! These legends squeezed my 2012 F250 in on short notice during a brutal 110 heat index day because apparently my truck decided it wanted to become a sauna on wheels.
Well, not anymore. Now its basically a mobile meat locker. Im talking frosty vents, people. Like, Titanic iceberg level cold. I half expected Leo DiCaprio to pop out of the glovebox.
But it gets better, I called them about my old 1977 F150 Ranger, rocking that original R12 A/C system (aka prehistoric dinosaur juice). Ive owned that truck for nearly a decade and have been rolling windows down like its 1985. These guys brought that AC back to life like a scene out of a mechanic-themed zombie movie. Now Im cruising those summer nights in a classic with the cold air cranked and zero sweat stains in sight.
Top notch service, straight shooters, no upsell nonsense. If your ride needs help, this is the place. Whether its a workhorse or a weekend cruiser, London Bridge Auto And Transmisson Repair gets it done right.
