Shari Elliott has two decades of experience as an Environmental Lawyer. Shari's experience as a member of the Environmental Group at Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt included both litigation and corporate commercial aspects of environmental law. Since relocating to Barrie with her family Shari has continued to assist private, commercial and municipal clients with environmental matters.

Expropriation Law involves the compulsory taking of property by an Expropriating Authority. Expropriation is a right granted through federal or provincial statutes to Expropriating Authorities such as governments, universities and public utilities. Expropriation is used when privately owned lands are needed for public projects such as the building or widening of roads, highways, pipelines or expanding or locating new schools.
