Cavities are one of the most common problems amongst children, teens, and adults. Cavities are permanently decayed parts of the teeth that progress into tiny holes or gaps. They are called dental caries or tooth decay caused by bacteria and poor dental hygiene. Some contributing factors can be drinking fizzy drinks in excess, lack of proper brushing and flossing, and dry mouth.
