As Saskatchewan carefully moves forward lifting restrictions, Smiths' Insurance is now open to walk-in traffic. While visiting our office, you will see precautions are in place to keep both you and our staff safe, yet still allow SGI Motor Vehicle transactions to occur. Our commercial, home and auto insurance teams are all available to assist you.

Please exercise patience during your visit, as you may experience line-ups that adhere with social distancing practices. The majority of SGI Auto Fund transactions can be completed by phone 306-359-3331, or online at myplates.ca. The site also includes help for those using their MySGI account for the first time.

You pay your premium every year on renewal, so when it comes time to use your insurance it is our priority to ensure that you claim is handled quick, efficiently, and above all else, correctly. For all claims (other than auto) you can report it directly to our office during our business hours. Take reasonable steps to ensure no further loss to your property, without risking your safety.
