Designing and creating beautiful backyard getaways has been the passion of Hollandia Pools and Spas since 1950. After immigrating to Canada from The Netherlands, John Guldemond started a small business based on his family's roots in landscaping. John grew and sold plants but soon his modest company expanded to accommodate customer requests for designing backyard pools and in 1950 Hollandia was founded.

The company was started in 1950, and is one of the oldest continuously operating swimming pool construction companies in Canada. Since its inception, the company has been involved in the design and construction of hundreds of successful commercial projects.
