Services
Physiotherapy
Our physiotherapy services address musculoskeletal injuries, chronic pain, and post-surgical rehabilitation. Using manual therapy, exercise prescription, and advanced techniques like Active Release Technique, we restore mobility and reduce pain. Tailored treatment plans target individual needs, whether for sports injuries, back pain, or arthritis. Our FCAMPT-certified physiotherapists combine clinical expertise with patient education to promote long-term recovery and functional improvement.
Acupuncture
Acupuncture involves inserting fine needles at specific points to relieve pain and stimulate healing. This technique targets conditions like migraines, arthritis, and sports injuries by releasing endorphins and improving circulation. Our certified practitioners integrate acupuncture with physiotherapy to enhance pain management and recovery outcomes for patients in Ottawa.
Custom Orthotics
Custom orthotics correct foot imbalances to alleviate pain in feet, knees, hips, and back. These tailored shoe inserts improve posture, reduce joint stress, and enhance stability. Designed through detailed biomechanical assessments, our orthotics address conditions like plantar fasciitis and flat feet, providing long-term relief and improved mobility.
Active Release Technique
Active Release Technique (ART) treats soft tissue injuries by breaking adhesions and restoring tissue mobility. This hands-on method addresses repetitive strain injuries, muscle tightness, and nerve entrapments. Effective for athletes and office workers alike, ART accelerates recovery from conditions like carpal tunnel syndrome and sciatica through precise, targeted movements.
Chronic Pain Management
Our chronic pain programs combine physiotherapy, acupuncture, and exercise therapy to address long-term conditions like fibromyalgia and arthritis. By focusing on functional restoration and activity pacing, we help patients regain independence and reduce reliance on medications. Multidisciplinary care plans emphasize patient education and lifestyle modifications for sustainable pain relief.

I had a severe pain in my back, affecting my leg. Many doctors didn't get the right definition to the pain. My family doctor recommended Theo. He diagnosed my pain due to nerve entrapment, I followed his insturctions. Got a great progress, enventually I could run again without pain.

Th Physio treatment I was given at Ottawa Physiotherapy for an injured MCL was very thorough and key to my recovery. Luca was an excellent therapist who provided a wonderful variety of exercises along with his treatments to ensure I would be able to return to my activities as soon as possible. The Sunday morning vibe amongst the staff and patients was also super. I will surely be back the next time I need physio.

Knowledgeable and friendly staff at the Orleans location. Pulled my hamstring on my right leg while playing soccer 3 weeks prior to me leaving on a 5 months vacation and Julien managed to reduce the pain and swelling I had. Thanks Julien, back golfing and playing tennis in Florida now. Roger
