Are eye exams covered by OHIP?

I've been going here for years now and I'll never go anywhere else. The secretaries are very kind and helpful, even helping me fill out my prescription information online so that I could purchase glasses at a different vendor because I personally can't afford the glasses they sell (average price for a pair of glasses is around $200 which isn't bad just not for me), and they did so in a way that made me feel not judged for my budget. Thank you for the your apology. You Dr Chan, did nothing wrong, you did a fantastic job ! It is the receptionist that I have a problem with. I was not offered a redo. I waited 15 minutes for her to take out the mistake and put the old lens back in. There was no customer service given to me.

Dr. Chan was very patient and super friendly. She took time to answer my questions and I never felt rushed during the visit. The secretary was wonderful too - polite and professional. Very happy about my new contact lens.

Been going to Beaches Optometry for years, for glasses and contacts, for me and the kids, so in there a lot - and the entire team is terrific. Just got back from picking up another pair of cool and affordable glasses...thanks to Darra, whos a real gem...knowledgeable, warm and helpful. Highly recommend. :-)

Very disappointing. Very rude secretary. Dr Chan has lost 3 patients. Making an appointment is a joke, will still have to wait a long time. If youre late, theyll canceled your appointment immediately. Find somewhere better!!!
