Services
Allergy Skin Testing
Allergy skin testing identifies environmental allergens causing pet discomfort through controlled injections and reaction analysis. This diagnostic tool enables customized immunotherapy plans targeting specific triggers like pollen or dust mites. Results guide long-term treatment strategies reducing reliance on symptomatic medications while improving pet quality of life.
Apoquel Treatment
Apoquel controls allergic itching in dogs by targeting specific immune pathways without broad immunosuppression. This fast-acting medication provides relief within hours, reducing inflammation and scratching associated with atopic dermatitis or flea allergies while minimizing side effects compared to traditional steroids.
Food Allergy Diagnosis
Food allergy diagnosis involves supervised elimination diets and food challenges to identify protein triggers causing skin or gastrointestinal issues. This systematic approach differentiates true allergies from intolerances, enabling customized nutrition plans that eliminate problematic ingredients while maintaining balanced pet nutrition.
Mites Treatment
Mites treatment addresses Demodex and Sarcoptic mange infestations through medicated baths, oral medications, and environmental management. Targeted therapies eliminate parasites while managing secondary infections, restoring skin health and preventing transmission between animals.
Paw Nail Disorder
Paw and nail disorder treatment addresses infections, trauma, and autoimmune conditions affecting pet mobility. Comprehensive care combines medical treatments with environmental modifications to resolve pain, prevent recurrence, and maintain healthy nail growth through specialized diagnostics and targeted interventions.

We've been taking our pets to Dr. Charnach for decades. Our 'Benji' was his first dermatology patient at his Richmond location almost 30 years ago.
Dr. 'Mike' is not only one of the best veterinarians we have ever known, he is also a very caring individual and his rates quite reasonable. Highly recommended !

I was travelling through town and needed to bring my dog to see a vet for an ear infection. These ladies were so wonderful with us, got us the right medication quickly and we were on our way for a really reasonable price!! To top the whole amazing experience off, they actually called me a week later to check up on my dog!!!! Hard to find follow ups these days. Great job :)
