We are a local clinic that has been proudly serving our Van Island community since 2001. Over the years, it has been our sincere pleasure to reconnect with our familiar faces and to also meet new ones when they visit us for their visual needs. Our Services

Ocular Coherence Tomography, the latest advancement in retinal imaging, comparable to an ultrasound. Reports and letters for your employer, school, insurance company, and anyone else who requires information on your ocular health. The Canadian Association of Optometrists recommends that children should have their eyes checked by an optometrist at age 6 months, again at 2 years, before they start school, and yearly once they are in school.
Prepare
Report
Everyone entering the clinic is required to give their name, as well as a phone number for contact tracing. Everyone entering the clinic is required to wear a mask that covers the chin, mouth, and nose. Your current glasses or contact lens parameters (brand and power- or even better, bring the boxes!).
Direct Billing
Report
Patients with valid BC CareCards who are 65 years or older are entitled to partial coverage towards their eye examinations every year. Please note that MSP does not cover the entire fee, and there is a copay for seniors. Between the ages of 19-64 MSP may contribute to eye exams on a case by case basis, depending on ocular health conditions, use of specific prescription medications, and systemic health conditions.
