Cottage Rentals
Our 1- and 2-bedroom cottages sleep 2-4 guests with full kitchens, electric appliances, and private outdoor spaces. Each unit includes fiber-optic TV/internet, gas barbecue, and electric heating. Weekly rentals include boat access during peak season.
Boat Rentals
Available boats include motorized options with fuel included. Rentals include life jackets and safety equipment. Weekly packages offer better value for extended stays. Docking space provided free of charge for cottage guests.
Fishing Excursions
Balsam Lake offers excellent fishing for walleye, bass, and northern pike. We provide local knowledge about best fishing spots and techniques. Guests receive cleaning assistance information and nearby processing facilities.

What types of cottages are available?
We offer 1-bedroom cottages for 2 guests and 2-bedroom cottages for 4 guests, all with full kitchens, modern appliances, and private outdoor spaces.
Are pets allowed at the cottages?
We maintain a strict no-pets policy to ensure cleanliness and comfort for all guests. Service animals are welcome with prior notification.
What fishing opportunities exist nearby?
Balsam Lake offers excellent walleye, bass, and northern pike fishing. We provide local knowledge about productive spots and nearby processing facilities.
How do I make a reservation?
Contact us directly via phone or email to check availability. A $300 deposit via cash, cheque, or e-transfer confirms your booking.
What's included in cottage rentals?
All cottages include kitchen appliances, bedding linens, towels, fiber-optic internet, and outdoor furniture. Boat rentals available separately.
Can I rent for less than a week?
During peak season (June-September), weekly rentals run Saturday to Saturday. Shorter stays may be available off-season with flexible booking options.

Friendly owners & patrons, cottage 2 is a bit small but clean, got there in Super hot days so too hot to sleep in the bedroom & too bad we couldn't locate the fish at all

Not enough soap or utensils, docks are very hard to get into with the boat when windy. Beds were comfy, heat was decent, TV was really small but there was satelight. Very close to public boat launch.

Year after year after year, this place never fails to please me. 4 big men, in a well equipped housekeeping cottage. It was comfortable, private, spacious with the screened in room, cable TV, great docking, hydro for charging your boat, beautiful location, and gorgeous well-kept grounds... and then there's Gail. A kinder, more pleasant person, you'll never find.

Best of The Best if you want to be taken care of and for a very reasonable price . Beautiful views and great fishing , very pretty walking sites along the country side, etc , etc. These people know how to put on a great show.

We had an awesome time and the fishing was good. Cottages are not new but kept clean and kept up. You need not bring any thing except your bedding sheets and food and of course your fishing equipment. Gail and Grant are awesome hosts and will help you with any details that you need. We have been going to this lovely quite resort for 6 years now and will continue do so in the future. If you want to get away from it all this is the place to go. Have a happy, fun, safe time with your stay this summer. The Millers from St. Catharines, Ont.
