Cottage Rentals
Our fully equipped cottages sleep 4-8 guests with modern amenities including full kitchens, climate control, and private fire pits. Each unit provides waterfront access, complimentary recreational equipment, and seasonal programming. Bed linens available for additional fee.
Boat Rentals
Choose from 14' aluminum fishing boats or 18' pontoon boats with motors and safety gear. Rentals include life jackets and security deposit requirements. Pontoon operation requires valid pleasure craft license.
Fishing Access
Direct lake access for catching muskie, walleye, and bass species. Dockside fishing available with boat rentals or personal watercraft launch facilities. Local knowledge assistance provided for optimal fishing locations.
Pet Accommodations
Approved dogs welcome in designated areas with $100/week fee. Pet-friendly cottages available with specific rules including leash requirements and restricted beach access for animals.
Water Recreation
Complimentary non-motorized watercraft including kayaks, canoes, and paddleboards. Swimming beach with lifeguard supervision, children's playground, and organized lawn games for family entertainment.

Our 4-bedroom cottages sleep up to 8 guests with multiple bed configurations including single and double beds.
Can I bring my boat to the resort?
Yes, we offer onsite boat launch and docking facilities for guest watercrafts up to 35 feet.
Are pets allowed on the property?
Dogs are permitted with prior approval at $50/weekend or $100/week, restricted to grassed areas.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept email transfers, personal checks, bank drafts, money orders, and cash payments.
Do you offer seasonal rentals?
Cottage rentals operate seasonally from May 2 to October 13 with differentiated pricing between low and high seasons.
What recreational activities are included?
All guests receive complimentary access to kayaks, canoes, paddleboards, and pedal boats during stays.

Our family has been going to this resort for the last three years. We enjoy ourselves and the owners are very personable and always willing to help if anything is needed. Would recommend this resort to anyone looking for a place for a family vacation.

Just returned from another exceptional, annual family holiday at Oak Bay Resort in Buckhorn. Walking distance (even for the little ones) to the main street in Buckhorn gives you lots of options for dinner and ice cream. Dan and Rayna (owners) make you feel welcome from the moment you arrive, and are exceptional hosts to make your stay a great one. The cottages are clean, homey and welcoming; lots of boat rental options available; plenty of water toys and activities provided; close to a natural river for tubing; and the delicious country mart bakery for all the sweet treats you need. Lots of fun

Spent a week this summer at Oak Bay Resort. Oak Bay Resort is an incredibly fun, clean and welcoming family run cottage resort. We were immediately welcomed into the community seasonal renters and Dan and Rayna (Owners) went out of their way to make sure our stay was everything we wanted. If you are looking for a family-friendly vacation, Oak Bay Resort in Buckhorn is the place to book!

Always enjoy coming here. Cottages are more like cabins, they have the necessities but help encourage you to spend time outdoors. the beach is nice, owners are friendly and hardworking and will help to endure your experience is wonderful

Lovely setting. Great location, within walking distance to downtown Buckhorn. Perfect for little kiddies with the playground and beach. 50 year old cottages, so they are "real" cottages.

Our family just spent a week at Oak Bay Resort and we loved it! Perfect cottage resort for the whole family. Cottages were clean, resort was beautiful and had something for everyone to enjoy. The area had a private secluded feel yet youre a short walk away from a general store, LCBO and several restaurants. The owners were on site and were so friendly and truly cared about making sure your stay was a great one. Our family cant wait to go back next year!

Had a great time at Buckhorn lake when we rented a fishing boat from Oak Bay Resort. Dan and Rayna were very helpful and friendly. Washrooms were in excellent condition. Will be going back for future rentals.
