Services
Sports Injuries
Our clinic specializes in treating sports-related injuries through targeted physiotherapy techniques. We address sprains, strains, and overuse syndromes using evidence-based methods to reduce pain, restore mobility, and prevent recurrence. Our team works with athletes across all skill levels to develop customized rehabilitation plans that facilitate safe return to activity.
Aquatherapy Programs
Aquatherapy utilizes water's buoyancy to create a low-impact environment for rehabilitation. This service helps patients regain strength and flexibility while minimizing stress on joints. It is particularly effective for orthopedic conditions and post-surgical recovery, combining therapeutic exercises with hydrostatic properties to enhance healing outcomes.
Foot and Ankle Pain
We provide specialized treatment for foot and ankle conditions using manual therapy and orthotic solutions. Our physiotherapists address biomechanical imbalances through gait analysis and targeted exercises. This service focuses on restoring normal movement patterns and reducing chronic pain caused by injuries or degenerative conditions affecting the lower extremities.
Functional Capacity Evaluations
Functional Capacity Evaluations assess workers' physical capabilities following injuries. Our evaluations measure strength, endurance, and job-specific task performance to determine readiness for return-to-work. This service helps employers and insurance providers make informed decisions about workplace accommodations and rehabilitation progress.
Pre-Surgical Conditioning
Pre-surgical physiotherapy optimizes patients' physical condition before operations. We focus on strengthening target areas, improving range of motion, and educating patients about post-operative care. This proactive approach enhances surgical outcomes and accelerates recovery by establishing baseline mobility and muscle function prior to procedures.

Kees Huisken is THE MAN! I was in a motorbike accident and with having to learn to walk again and constant soreness in my leg i was giving up hope seeing a physiotherapist for months with no progress! My friend recommended seeing Kees in Vernon and i figured whats to lose? A few bucks in gas at the most :P But i took the drive with my fiance and… with just 15minutes with Kees he had me walking with propper form and took away my *sharp* pain when i was walking prior. Kees not only helped me walk properly after months of getting no where but he built up my confidence in myself. Laying in bed
