Sun City Physiotherapy is locally owned and operated. We opened our first clinic in Downtown Kelowna in 2000 and have since become the fastest growing private physiotherapy practice in the Okanagan. In 2002, we opened our second clinic in Glenmore, followed by Winfield / Lake Country in 2008, and in 2018 we opened our newest clinic in Kelowna's Lower Mission.

Our physiotherapists use a manual therapy 'hands-on approach for assessment and treatment. This is combined with advanced techniques individualized for each patient. We also believe in the importance of evidence-based practice and the need for tailored exercise prescriptions. Our Massage Therapists provide therapeutic massage for various injuries, conditions and dysfunctions.
What to Expect

Your first visit at Sun City Physiotherapy will take between 45-60 minutes. In this time, your therapist will get a clear understanding or your complaint, perform a thorough assessment and initiate treatment. For first time patients to Sun City Physiotherapy, we ask that you arrive 10 minutes early for your appointment to register in our system and complete any paperwork.

A specialized 'hands-on' approach using mobilization and manipulation for treatment of injuries of the spine, muscles, joints, bones and nerves. IMS is a dry needling technique in which needles are placed into tight muscular bands to elicit a reaction. The reaction of the muscle is followed by a decrease in the resting tone or tightness of the muscle.
