Comprehensive eye examinations are important for all people, of all ages, every one to two years. It is often thought that if a person is seeing well, their eyes must be healthy, but unfortunately that is not necessarily the case. There are many sight-threatening eye diseases that can develop without any early symptoms or warning signs, the best way to protect your vision is through a complete examination.

Our office is equipped to perform a complete assessment of your child's eyes. The Canadian Association of Optometrists strongly recommends that children have their first eye exam before the age of one year to detect vision problems that could become permanent. Children in high risk groups such as those with a parent who has a turned eye, lazy eye or strong prescription, warrant particular attention with respect to early examinations.
