Regulation in Ontario

Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine is a regulated profession in Ontario. Acupuncturists and Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners must be registered with the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of Ontario (CTCMPAO). The regulation of the profession is to ensure patients are protected and receive safe treatments.

All members of the AIM Academy community have a right to study and work in an environment free of sexual violence. This document sets out AIM Academy's policy on sexual violence, defines the prohibited behaviours, and outlines the investigative processes for sexual violence.
AIM Academy is committed to providing members of its community an educational environment free from sexual violence and treating those individuals who report incidents of sexual violence with dignity and respect.To that end, AIM Academy will educate faculty, staff and students about this Policy and how to identify situations that involve, or could progress into sexual violence and how to reduce these forms of prohibited behaviours.
