Taking into consideration the health or our family, team, patients and those within our community, Kootenay Dental Arts is committed to doing our part and has had the doors to our clinic closed for non essential dental services since March.
We have kept some staff on to address emergencies or answer questions and Drs Pentecost and Naqvi have been providing continuing care using tele-dentistry and also volunteering at the West Kootenay Community Emergency Dental Clinic. The British Columbia College of Dental Surgeons has just released guidelines for our profession to begin seeing patients again in person.

Services
Report
Our team is committed to getting to know our clients and their individual needs and expectations. Through placing an emphasis on prevention of disease and dental education, we strive to exceed your expectations and provide exceptional and comprehensive dental care. Our examinations begin with an extra-oral exam to evaluate the muscles of mastication and temporomandibular joint.
Implants
Report
Implants are currently the best option for replacing missing teeth. Essentially, a titanium implant is placed in the bone where the tooth's root used to sit, and a crown is placed on top of the implant. Unlike a denture, it isn't bulky and is fixed in place. Unlike a bridge it doesn't affect the neighboring teeth and replaces both the crown and root of the tooth, helping to maintain bone in the area.
