Austin Security began in 1997 as a one man operation when after ten years in the industry, company President Pat McNamara took off on his own. Operating out of his basement, Pat grew his business by knocking on doors in the Edmonton area, until he was able to lease an office space and hire employees to his team.
Over the years, Pats wife Annette provided support by assisting with the bookkeeping and together, began raising their three children; twins, Mitch and Liam and Daughter, Alyssa. While spending days and nights at the ice rink and the swimming pool, the McNamara's continued to grow Austin Security throughout the city of Edmonton and area.
