We relocated from BC to Ottawa to buy our first house and I contacted Jeff to assist us with locating a home. We went through the process to determine exactly what we wanted (we weren't sure ourselves as first time home buyers) and we weren't sure of even where we wanted to put down roots.
Thankfully Jeff really knows his market, knows the areas, knows the trends and knows how to find the right house for us. During the pandemic, it's safe to say buying a house has been difficult on all of us. I was hesitant and weary in buying my first home when strong offers have been fierce. I was referred to BGM (Jeff) from a work colleague. Jeff has a strong history in the construction industry and because I wanted a house that I could fix up to make my own, I found he was a really suitable match. I gave Jeff 4 conditions on what I was looking for:

When coming to Ottawa in 2019 we chose to work with Laurie Gagnier by the recommendation of a friend. Being a Military family, we have worked with several agents in the past. Laurie has been the best agent we have had. When it came time to sell, the obvious choice was to use Laurie again. In buying, she took the time to really understand the key points we wanted, and she won't let you buy anything beneath her own quality standards.
