Services
Our Practice
Report
Our practice has had roots in the community since 1982. Our services and technology have evolved since those early days, but our outstanding commitment to our patients has always remained the same. We're continuously working to provide our patients with the best care possible, through facility renovations and updated product offerings.
Adult & Senior Eye Exams
Report
If you're between the ages of 20 and 64, you should have an eye exam every 2 years. Once you're 65, you should have yearly eye examinations. Regular check-ups are the most effective way to prevent the progression of eye disease and keep you seeing your best. Most eye exams take about an hour. During that time, we get to know you and your eye care needs.
Children’s Eye Exams
Report
Unlike adults, children often can't tell they have a vision problem. They aren't aware that they are seeing the world differently. Additionally, many eye issues, like myopia, develop in childhood. In order to catch these issues early to prevent them from impacting your child's learning, your child should have an eye exam once per year.
Diabetic Eye Exams
Report
People living with diabetes are at risk of developing eye diseases exclusive to diabetes, like diabetic retinopathy and diabetic macular edema. Diabetes can also increase your risk of other eye diseases, including cataracts, age-related macular degeneration, and glaucoma.
The risk of vision loss for those with diabetes is 25 times higher than for those without, but with early detection and treatment, there is a 95% reduction in the risk of blindness.Fundus photography uses a digital camera to take photos of the retina, the inner layer at the back of the eye. By closely examining your retina, we can detect signs of diseases like diabetic retinopathy, diabetic macular edema, and age-related macular degeneration.
