4 starts and not 5 because sweets had that fridge freezer smell and honestly just ruined it for me not getting any sweets anymore here. Other then sweets real gem is freshly baked bread, pastries and food they sell, really really good

The cakes are fresh and great. Staff are very nice, and a little more friendly since the pandemic. The food at the hot table is too expensive for the quality. If I order a veal sandwich, a large part is impossible to chew, i guess its muscle. Happens every time. The pasta does not have alot of taste. Forego the prepared food at the hot table. There is an odd staff member who walks around the restaurant area that picks up dishes too fast and is very hard to understand. Strange behaviour. Grew up in the area. This is one of the staples of the community.While it has definitely grown and changed over the last couple decades. It still has amazing food and some of the original staff who tell it like it is! Great place for some food, baked goods and everything in between. Very safe and friendly bakery in Rexdale.
