Stayed here this past weekend for my bf’s soft ball tournament. Great location; close to other restaurants and lounges. Very friendly staff; I don’t remember the name of the woman that checked us in and served us at the pub but she was phenomenal! Rooms are mostly renovated (bed was a bit too firm for those that don’t like firm) The Galley… restaurant was delicious and the wheelhouse pub was a good time! The band that played were awesome! I remember staying at restland as a child and used the swimming pool, would be nice to bring that back 🙂 Overall a good experience

Friendly, clean, quiet. The Galley restaurant next door is very good with a great menu and the best pan fried cod we’ve had. The Wheelhouse Pub next door is superb with great local musicians including the proprietor himself. They showed us Vancouverites a great time. We can’t wait to come back- Thank you All !!!

The Galley Restaurant had the best cod in all of NL. And they offer home-baked bread.The Wheelhouse Pub is so fun and authentic. Rooms are big and clean. Most of all, the staff are the most fun and friendly people you will meet in NL. This motel was the highlight of our trip.
