We are an award-winning music and movement program dedicated to fostering early childhood development through the power of music. Since introducing this transformative program to our community, we have focused on creating a nurturing environment where children from newborn to age five engage in singing, movement, and instrument play while building foundational skills in social interaction, problem-solving, pre-mathematics, and literacy. Our curriculum integrates research-based methodologies from Montessori, Suzuki, Kodaly, Orff, and Jaques-Dalcroze traditions, ensuring scientifically supported approaches to child development.With over two decades of teaching experience, our founder Jo combines her expertise in violin performance and Suzuki training to deliver high-quality, accessible music education. We prioritize community impact by donating a portion of tuition fees to Sistema Toronto, supporting music access for underserved youth. Bachelor's degree in Violin Performance from University of Toronto. 20+ years teaching experience with Suzuki training certification. Former orchestral performer turned early childhood music specialist. Developed local Kindermusik program after discovering its benefits for her own children. Currently teaches violin at Toronto Sistema while leading community-focused music classes.

I cannot exaggerate how wonderful Jo and her classes are. My daughter (18 months) and I began taking the outdoor classes as soon as they became available (post Covid) and have enjoyed every single one. Every week Jo incorporates new instruments, activities and lessons while building foundations on music, sounds and skills. She also uses sign language which I absolutely LOVE. She provides a safe and friendly environment for children to learn from herself, parents and other group attendees. She offers many classes with different locations and times, so it’s easy to find something that fits
