Dr. Wendy grew up in Muskoka, surrounded by domestic and wild animals, and she never remembers a time when she didn't want to be a vet. The only time she has ever been without a pet is during her first 2 years of university- after that, she smuggled a rabbit into residence for companionship. Her husband and daughter currently share her with a Saluki, a German Shepherd, a mutt that looks like a terrier, a cat, and a lovebird.
After working in more than fifteen clinics throughout Ontario, Dr. Wendy started Stroud Veterinary Hospital in 2004. Although starting a family at the same time was not part of the plan, her daughter had different ideas. The ability to practice medicine according to her own philosophy has been very rewarding, although balancing work and home life has sometimes been a bit challenging!

At Stroud Veterinary Hospital our number one priority is you and your pets comfort. From treats to non skid mats for your pets, and chairs accessible to our rooms and coffee/tea for our clients we try to make the experience as enjoyable as possible.
Another way we try to make our pets comfort number one is by booking only 1 appointment at a time, that way there are no other pets waiting in the office and our attention is fully on you and your pet.Unfortunately we do sometimes run into double bookings if an emergency comes in but we will do our best to accommodate.

Stroud Veterinary Hospital History
Report
In the spring of 2003 we purchased "the Peacock house" in Stroud and renovated it into a space suitable for a Veterinary Hospital, with a full apartment underneath. We tried to retain the character of the house, as many people in the community have memories of the parties and social events that took place here over the years.

Report
If you have an emergency during our business hours (located to the right) then you can give us a call at 705-436-9838 or walk in to our office located at 7918 Yonge Street Innisfil Ontario L9S 1L5. Wellness and Vaccination
Report
We like to keep pets healthy and the best way to do that is for them to have a yearly examination by a veterinarian. Pets age much faster than humans and a lot can change in a short amount of time. Puppies, kittens, seniors, and pets with health conditions need more frequent examinations to better assess their progress.
