While in law school at Queen's University, I developed my passion for criminal law while assisting federal prison inmates with parole hearings, and also volunteering for Queen's Legal Aid. After graduating, I articled for Alan D. Gold, a well-respected criminal lawyer in Toronto. Working long hours under his mentorship gave me the skills I needed to assert my clients' rights.
I then worked for a time in Kingston, Ontario, for a small criminal defence firm. While there, I ran trials and developed my courtroom skills. I then decided to move to Kitchener and establish my own practice. I now practise at 30 Queen Street North with a group of experienced lawyers who, like myself, practise exclusively criminal law.

Being charged with a criminal offence can mean a stressful time for you and your loved ones. As I help you with the situation, my promise is an effective defence at a reasonable rate. I will accept Legal Aid for virtually all cases in Kitchener, as well as for some cases at courthouses outside of Kitchener.

Drug offences are enumerated in the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. Most commonly, drug charges are either for simple possession, or possession for the purpose of trafficking. In addition to the offence of Impaired Driving, related offences include driving 'Over 80' and Failure to Provide a Breath Sample.
