Following local and provincial government guidelines, Toronto Psychological Services & Research Centre has implemented the following standard operating procedures to ensure a safe environment for all clients, therapists, and staff. Toronto Psychological Services and Research Centre is committed to providing high-quality assessment and psychotherapy services to adults (18+).

We specialize in evidence-based counselling services and our clinicians are trained in and utilize Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, and Exposure Therapy.

Toronto Psychological Services & Research Centre's staff members are a diverse team of Psychologists, Psychological Associates, Clinical Therapists and Assessment Consultants. We are highly trained and qualified Scholar Practitioners. We integrate evidence-based research findings with our assessment and treatment of clients presenting with various clinical and counselling concerns.
Fees
Report
Fees are dependent upon a number of factors including but not limited to; service required, clinician providing the service and/or scope of service. Please contact our office for detailed information concerning fees. A late cancellation fee or 'no show policy is in effect. Clients agree to a 48-hour notice or pay fee of $100 if they do not provide the required notice.
Autism Assessments

About half of parents of children with autism spectrum disorder notice their child's unusual behaviours by age 18 months, and about four-fifths notice by age 24 months. Postponing treatment may affect the long-term outcome. While there are similar or shared symptoms between people with autism, some higher functioning individuals have fewer problems with speaking and are often of average, or above average, intelligence.

Psychoeducational Assessments, also known as an Educational Assessment, Learning Assessment, Education Assessment or an Academic Assessment - is considered the best means of gaining an in-depth understanding a student's learning style and better still, their potential to learn in future. An Educational Assessment is a structured evaluation of a person's psychological development.
Clinical Assessments
Report
A psychological assessment prepared by a qualified child psychologist or psychological associate can identify and/or diagnose issues impacting an individual's development, behaviour, socioemotional functioning and personality. A comprehensive assessment can offer realistic recommendations for self-referring individuals, parents, schools, teachers, doctors, hospitals, other caregivers, lawyers and workplaces.
