Dr. Hamza Khan is committed to patient safety and to providing high quality ophthalmology surgery, medical care, and research. He began practicing in Victoria in 2002, and specializes in cataract surgery for visual enhancement and rehabilitation. To date, Dr. Khan has delivered over one hundred invited lectures at national and international conferences.
He has also authored numerous chapters in textbooks on cataract surgery, and is the coeditor of the sole video supported textbook in his field, Surgical Correction of Astigmatism (Springer; 2017). Dr. Khan completed his B.Sc. (Honours) from the University of Toronto and then attended the University of Western Ontario, receiving an M.D. with Honours.

First Visit
Report
During this visit, one of our experienced technicians will perform testing on your eye(s). The technician will gather information about you, and perform diagnostic tests which are necessary for a detailed evaluation of your eye condition. Dr. Khan requires this information to assess your case and will have it available at your consultation appointment with him, which will be booked for a different day.

To begin your consultation appointment, one of our technicians will test your vision and dilate your eyes with dilating drops. Once your eyes are fully dilated, we will bring you to an examination room where Dr. Khan will perform a complete eye examination and discuss his findings with you. He will then outline all options available to you for treatment and intervention.
