Because of the high number of unwanted kittens, we strongly recommend spaying and neutering your kittens. They reach sexual maturity as young as 6-8 months of age. Therefore, we recommend having your kittens spayed (females) or neutered (males) at 6 months of age. Being old isn't a disease, but it does require some special considerations and extra care. We recommended wellness examinations and screening diagnostics (bloodwork, urinalysis, +/- radiographs) every 6-12 months to catch potential issues early.
