I was referred to Dr. Tom by my dentist in the hopes of receiving a wire retainer for minor tooth realignment. After explicitly stating I did not want Invisalign, I was quoted $1200 for a wire retainer and paid $200 for a 3D scan. At a third appointment, which ended up being a second consultation, I was shown Invisalign options / timelapse of how the trays would work, thinking I'd be receiving my wire retainer, after having already stated that Invisalign was not the route I wanted to take. I ultimately ended up going to a different orthodontist whose treatment plan was the same and quote was significantly
