I brought my 12 y/o daughter to visit Ian today due to a wax build up in both ears. She was incredibly nervous as we have tried many attempts to remove the wax (visits to the MD, flushing, oil, etc) and nothing seemed to work. She was in pain, frustrated and nervous. Within the first 20 seconds, as he met us in the waiting room, his calm demeanour, humour, professionalism reduced her anxiety and gave me the confidence this would be a positive experience. Integrity. I visited Ian Murray Hearing Centre because I often find myself asking others to repeat themselves. He performed a thorough examination, and a full hearing test. I was somewhat relieved to hear (sorry for the pun) that my hearing is at the usual levels for my age. He didn't try to sell me a single thing, and the test was free. I don't know what the industry is like as a whole, but Ian Murray is definitely as honest as it gets. I would recommend him without hesitation.

Ian is THE guy to go see for ear wax removal. There is no point in going anywhere else. The micro-suction technique is the superior way of getting wax out with minimal hazard. Don't waste your time with the water flushing method, or waiting 9 months or more to go see an ENT doctor who will do the same service. He has been doing this thing specifically for over 10 years. He really knows what he's doing. He is very easy to deal with and explains everything very well. People from all over the place come all the way to Ottawa just to see him for this purpose.
