Facets Jewellery is a family-run business that strives to feature unique products, provide excellent customer service, and contribute positively to its community. Janette - owner, jeweler and goldsmith - grew up in California and developed a passion for goldsmithing and jewellery after taking jewellery-making courses in high school.
Janette moved to Canada when she was 19 and began creating her own jewellery, selling it at local markets and festivals. Although originally self-taught, Janette pursued a number of learning opportunities and completed courses in lapidary and stone cutting. In 1992, she completed a certificate in Diamonds from the Gemological Institute of America in Carlsbad, California.
