Primary Eye Exams
Comprehensive eye examinations assess visual acuity and ocular health while screening for conditions like glaucoma, cataracts, and macular degeneration. Our optometrists recommend biennial exams for adults aged 18-64 and annual exams for seniors, with specialized protocols for patients with diabetes or other risk factors. The exams include digital imaging and visual field testing to detect early signs of ocular disease.
Dry Eye Therapy
Specialized treatment for chronic dry eye disease using advanced therapies to improve tear film quality and reduce inflammation. Our ocular hygienists employ techniques like thermal pulsation and recommend prescription medications or punctal plugs when appropriate. We also provide education on at-home management strategies including lid hygiene and environmental modifications.
Contact Lenses
Custom contact lens fittings for various prescriptions and eye conditions, including toric lenses for astigmatism and multifocal options for presbyopia. We offer daily disposables, extended wear lenses, and specialty designs while ensuring proper corneal oxygenation and comfort. Our staff provides ongoing support for contact lens wearers experiencing dryness or discomfort.
Eyewear
Premium optical dispensary featuring designer frames and high-performance lenses from brands like Essilor and Crizal. Our opticians assist with frame selection based on facial structure and prescription requirements while offering anti-reflective coatings, progressive lenses, and impact-resistant materials. We ensure proper fit and adjustment for long-term comfort.
Emergency Appointments
Immediate evaluation and treatment for acute eye conditions including infections, foreign body removal, and sudden vision changes. Our optometrists manage conditions like conjunctivitis, corneal abrasions, and chemical exposures while providing referrals to ophthalmologists when surgical intervention is required. Showed up for my appointment ON TIME and after waiting 45 min I went up to the reception area and simply asked how long until the doctor sees me as I needed to rebook MY meetings and explained that. BOTH of the staff just glared at me and said we are short staffed. And they then just sat there. Wow!! If I had a person wait that long, a simply sorry would have made things so much better. I completely understand things happen but they BOTH need a lesson how to deal with people and that appointments are made for a reason!!!!! They are made so people can PLAN THEIR DAY. I will NOT BE BACK!

Dr schwager is a good doctor and is very nice. only reason i gave 3 stars is it takes forever to get an appointment to see her. i have been on a waiting list for 2 months and was told they are all booked up for the next month and a half. It would help if she worked in regina more than 1 day a week.
