Love their pretzels, bread & bagels. The pastry items are very good too. Very fresh Thurs Friday & Saturday - open. Breads don't have all the preservatives as other bakeries do.

If you want some traditional and awesome German Christmas cookies and Stollen as well as fresh bread you must come here! And bring a large shopping bag. Simply delicious!!!

Purchased light rye on Thurs. 2 white stickers on bread showed best before date 0520 so I'm guessing this bread was made in May and frozen for future sale. Lightly toasted 2 slices, bread curled in toaster and came out hard. What a waste of $6. So much for fresh bread, yuk! Yes the bread was purchased at your store. The lady serving the counter gave me the loaf from the shelf at the front window so it wasn't purchased as seconds. The slices were actually stuck together when I removed them from the package.

Love that this is an authentic German bakery with all the types of breads and baked treats that make me feel nostalgic! Always loved them at the Saturday Market but I enjoy the cozy storefront which also has German preserves and other familiar goods. Staff are always kind and get you what you need! Hard to find good German baking outside of the GTA so happy that this bakery exists. No sign for the bakery on the big plaza sign, and can be hard (impossible) to spot from the road, so be sure to keep an eye out for the building number or you will drive right by!
