Bolton Physiotherapy Clinic is pleased to offer virtual sessions for clients who are unable to attend the office in person. If you are hurting, injured, or recovering from surgery, a remote physiotherapy session may be ideal. Sessions are conducted via Insig meeting, which is PHIPA compliant. Our physiotherapists will provide you with an online exercise program, and clear directions regarding your care.
Acupuncture
Report
Acupuncture is a Traditional Chinese medicine-based approach to treating a wide range of conditions by triggering highly specific points on the body with fine needles. This is a minimally-invasive method which stimulates nerve-rich areas of the skins surface, producing a tiny injury at the insertion site and signalling the body to respond.
Aquatic Therapy
Report
Aquatic therapy is physiotherapy in a pool or aquatic environment that uses water's unique properties to foster healing and improve performance. Aquatic therapy utilizes buoyancy, drag, and hyrdro-static pressure while submerged in the water that- when combined with a skilled therapist and progressive treatment plan- can improve joint mobility, increase muscle strength, improve balance, and reduce pain.
