When we arrived in Salmon Arm 5 years ago it was the usual series of clinic visits while trying to get a G. P. When we went to Dr. Loew. my husband seemed to like him,. But I found his obsession with getting me to quit smoking took precedence over anything I had come about. The stress didn't help me quit (I did quit a year later). Fortunately I now have a Dr. who I respect and Feel they respect & care about me.

Dr Louw assessed me for a broken collar bone in April 2020 at salmon arm hospital , it was a bad break. Louw assured me no surgery was needed I will be completely healed in 4 weeks. Get checked up again by family dr in 4-6 weeks. At 6 weeks I am still In sling and still have severe pain. Get x Ray
From family dr , am told I am not healing at all I am referred to a specialist. Specialist cant believe Louw did not preform surgery stating it should have been blatenly obvious to any health care professional that I needed immediate surgery to fixate broken bone into position ! Now it is 6

My husband and I are patients of Dr. Louw. You couldn't ask for anyone better. He is kind, thorough, has a great sense of humour but most importantly, he knows his stuff. We have had other great doctors in the past, but Dr. Louw is the best! The staff at Maple Tree Medical Clinic are terrific. They operate like a well oiled machine. Thank you for the wonderful care we receive at your clinic.
