Cleaned up the garage and recycled some metal at Urbanmine today. I even got paid for it.Thanks to all the staff for being very upbeat and helpful for my first visit.

Quick and easy to get in and out of their yard. Staff is friendly and pleasant to deal with. They do not pay as much for material compared to the competition. It is the only yard in the South West corner of the city, which sets them apart from the others if saving travel time is important if you live nearby. The yard is often full (their reason they gave me for paying less than others) but they keep it organized and easy to navigate. There's not much room in the yard if there are multiple trucks unloading so I tend to 'stage' or unstrap and unstrap my load on the street by the railroad tracks
