Since 1928, Killdeer Beach Resort has been a hub for recreation at Lac La Nonne, one hour northwest of Edmonton, Alberta. With history rooted in the Klondike Trail era, this summer community has hosted families from the surrounding area for nearly a century. While our seasonal activities started with amphibious horse races in the 1930s, now you can enjoy fishing, boating, lawn games, and more.

Killdeer Beach Resort is located on Lac la Nonne, near where The Hudson's Bay Company established a trading post in the early 1800s. This particular post was used to pasture pack horses that would portage goods from Edmonton House to Fort Assiniboine on the Athabasca River Edm. By the 1890s, several families had settled around the lake, and the first summer cottages were built on the eastern shore in the early 1900s.

Killdeer Beach Resort offers comfortable and enjoyable seasonal camping each year from the beginning of May to mid-September. Our seasonal RV sites are available for annual leasing, but there are also select overnight camping and glamping options for guests to enjoy the summer with our community. This price includes all services (15 amp power, water, and sewer), and multi-year leases are NOT required.

This 30 foot RV has two slide outs and is located on one of the main paths into the heart of our seasonal RV lots. Camp comfortably with beds for up to six people (rated for eight) and a spacious deck to enjoy the day. Please note that payment is required on booking and we accept both etransfer and credit card.

Killdeer Beach is equipped with a number of seasonal amenities for the community to enjoy while spending time at our resort on the Lac la Nonne lakefront. A store, restaurant, and recreational activities keep everyone stocked up, fed, and having fun! When open on weekends, our cafe and restaurant prepares classic take out items for pick up.
