Therapy Services
Our registered social workers and psychotherapists provide individualized therapy for children facing emotional, social, and behavioral challenges. Using evidence-based approaches like Collaborative Problem Solving and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, we create safe spaces for children to develop coping skills while supporting families through the treatment process. Sessions focus on building emotional regulation, improving social interactions, and strengthening family relationships through structured therapeutic interventions.
In-Home Treatment
Our intensive in-home programs deliver mental health support directly to families' residences, focusing on practical skill development and immediate application. Through weekly visits and structured skill-building exercises, caregivers learn effective strategies for managing behavioral challenges while children develop emotional regulation techniques within their natural environment. This approach emphasizes real-time problem-solving and relationship-building between children and their caregivers.
School-Based Programs
We partner with Ottawa school boards to provide mental health services within educational settings, helping students overcome emotional and behavioral barriers to learning. Our programs combine academic support with therapeutic interventions, focusing on social skills development, self-regulation techniques, and classroom adaptation strategies that enable children to succeed in mainstream educational environments while receiving necessary mental health support.
Therapeutic Day Camp
This structured summer program combines recreational activities with social-emotional learning to build resilience and self-confidence in children aged 6-12. Through guided group activities and low camper-to-staff ratios, participants develop interpersonal skills and emotional regulation techniques in a supportive environment that emphasizes positive social interactions and personal growth through experiential learning opportunities.
Infant Mental Health
Specialized services for children under six years old focus on developing secure attachments and healthy emotional foundations through the Circle of Security approach. Our home-visiting program helps caregivers understand infant cues, establish nurturing routines, and create stable environments that promote healthy emotional development during critical early childhood stages.

This place does NOT do anything to help children... We brought a child there multiple years ago who desperately needed help and Crossroads did NOTHING. We tried to contact them TWICE recently for help and once again they did NOTHING, NEVER heard anything back from them at all! It's upsetting that a place that's SUPPOSED to be there to help, DOESN'T bother doing anything at all to help... I'd give 0 stars review if I could and would NOT recommend anyone to go through them since they can't seem to help like they are actually supposed to
THEY NEVER BOTHER HELPING!!! HOW IS THIS PLACE NOT SHUT
