Glenwood Resort is situated approximately twelve miles northeast of Parry Sound off of Highway 124. Nestled amongst maple and white birch only two and a half hours North of Toronto. We offer comfortable accommodations in our housekeeping cottages, safety and relaxation on our sandy beach, and access to boating and fishing.
Glenwood Resort is located at the north end of Lake Manitouwabing. With fifty miles of scenic shoreline, it is dotted with many islands, coves, and channels and provides for ample opportunity for a day of exploration and fun.

The Balsams
Report
This secluded three-bedroom cottage is nestled on a rock slope providing privacy for its occupants. Splendid views of the lake are obtainable from either inside the cottage or off the large side deck. Stairs at the side of the cottage lead down to a private dock. The Balsams is 650 square feet and comfortably accommodates up to 6 people.
The Bayview

Is one of our newer cottages. It is a three bedroom, 900 square foot cottage, built high on a rock mound overlooking the marina which provides a splendid view of Lake Manitouwabing. The secluded position of the cottage offers the perfect refuge, surrounded by greenery and forest. Sliding doors open to a 312 square foot deck that includes a covered screened porch which adds an element of tranquility on those rainy days.
The Birches

The Birches is a two-bedroom cottage on the water, conveniently situated next to the beach. It was fully renovated in 2008 and now offers sliding glass doors that provide easy access to the deck. Joining the deck is a private dock where you can secure your boat or one of our rentals. Try your luck fishing the many bays of Lake Manitouwabing.
The Lakeview

This spacious and newly renovated two-bedroom cottage is perched atop a rock mound offering a spectacular view of Lake Manitouwabing. Enjoy your morning coffee from a 250 square foot wrap around deck while listening to the loons and gazing out as the sun sparkles of the water. The is 670 square feet of space that can easily allow for up to 5 people.
The Oaks

This large three-bedroom cottage is perfectly situated high above the shoreline providing a panoramic view of the lake. Stairs at the base of the cottage allow easy access to the private dock on the waterfront. The fire pit is located on a large area of flat rock creating a great venue for evenings filled with marshmallow roasting and watching the moonrise over the lake.
