If you require URGENT medical care, please call 911 or go to the nearest hospital emergency department. You must bring a valid Health Card to every visit. Health Cards that have expired or are invalid will not be accepted under any circumstances and patients will be required to pay for the visit according to the Ontario Medical Association guidelines.
After Hours

The After-Hours Medical Clinic is for Urgent care and not a convenient substitute for routine care provided by your doctor. Your family physician is best suited to manage your health care and is generally available to see you during regular office hours. If you require any medical attention, please contact your family physician first.

It is a strict government policy that Ontario residents provide a valid health card at every visit. Patients who do not present a valid health card will be subject to a $60 charge in order to see their physician. Yes, the other doctors will work together in an effort to cover patients of the doctor that is away.
