Pelvic Health

Our pelvic floor muscles silently do their job to assist with bladder, bowel and sexual function. They also have a very significant contribution in keeping our core strong and our backs healthy. However, many of us are unaware that these muscles exist and in turn, do very little to keep them healthy and use them appropriately.
Pediatric Pelvic Health

Children will have significant urgency to urinate and may have leakage as a result of this urgency. May be distracted by an activity or may make the conscious decision not to go to the bathroom when they feel the urge i.e. Small amounts of urine leakage when a child exerts themselves or experiences an increase in abdominal pressure.
