Burlington Dance Academy has built a reputation for excellence in dance instruction as the most tenured dance school in our community since opening our doors in 1956. We believe dance transcends technique, fostering essential life skills such as respect, confidence, and conscientiousness while encouraging students to share their talents with the community. Our faculty comprises award-winning instructors with extensive professional backgrounds, including graduates of the National Ballet School's Teacher Training Program and certified Cecchetti Method specialists. We offer comprehensive training from beginners to pre-professional levels across multiple disciplines, including ballet, jazz, hip-hop, and contemporary. Our annual scholarship program and Cecchetti ballet examinations demonstrate our commitment to technical excellence. With three state-of-the-art studios featuring professional Harlequin sprung floors, we provide a safe, inclusive environment for dancers aged 2.5 years to adults.

Our competitive company teams have performed for over 25 years, creating a family atmosphere that emphasizes teamwork, mentorship, and perseverance. As an institution, we actively engage with the community through events like the Burlington Santa Claus Parade and fundraising initiatives for local charities. Our administrative team ensures seamless operations, maintaining clear communication with parents and organizing our annual year-end performance at the Burlington Performing Arts Centre. With over six decades of experience, we continue to prepare generations of dancers to achieve their full potential both on and off stage.
