Peter Tchilingirian founded the company in 1967 and his son Vasken joined in 1978. In 1993 they developed a unique product line of diamond and color stones designer jewellery, which was represented worldwide to retailers through tradeshows. Vasken also travelled all across North America providing custom design shows for the retail sector selling loose diamonds and custom design work to their clientele.
