IMS is a needling technique that helps to reduce adverse tone in tight muscle bands or trigger points that contribute to pain and dysfunction.

Nicole Hunter has been my physiotherapist for many years. She is highly skilled, personable, and an all round great person. She's always been there to help me recover and rehabilitate both my chronic and acute injuries to help me compete at my best. Nicole helped me be at my physical best leading up to the 2008 Olympics Games and afterwards.

We are located at 1517 34th Ave SW. You will find us on the block where 34th Ave intersects 14th St SW. From Crowchild take the 33rd Ave exit and travel east down 33rd until you reach 15th St SW. Turn right, then left on 34th Ave. We are then 100m down on the right. From 14th Street heading south turn right on 34th Ave and we are 100m up on the left.

Your physiotherapy rate includes a private, one-on-one session with a registered physiotherapist. Payment is due at each treatment session. You will be provided with a receipt that you can submit to your private insurer for reimbursement. At Marda Loop Physiotherapy we have tried to accommodate as many payment options as possible.

As physiotherapy is a direct contact medical profession, you do not require a doctor's referral to seek physiotherapy care in Canada. Some insurance providers require a doctor's referral in order to receive reimbursement of assessment and treatment costs, so it is best to call them for clarification.
