Dr. Lisa was raised on a small farm west of Edmonton and knew from a young age, she would become a vet. Lisa completed her Bachelor of Science (Animal Science major) degree at the University of Alberta and then moved to Melbourne, Australia to complete her veterinary medicine degree. Lisa graduated with honors in 2008.

Our team will assist you in accommodating all your appointment requests to the best of our abilities. When your pet is booked in for their annual exam you can be sure that our veterinarians will complete a thorough physical exam from head to toe.
Checking the eyes, ears, teeth, mucous membrane color and capillary refill time, skin and hair coat, palpating the abdomen for any abnormalities, and assessing the joints for signs of discomfort or abnormalities.In addition to these parts of the exam, if there is anything in particular you have concerns about with your pet, our veterinarians are always happy to assess those concerns and discuss them with you.

Our Doctors, Technicians and support staff are working very hard to assist your pet with the treatments and care needed during your pet's visit with us. This area is the heart of our practice where most of your pet's care will be performed. Treatments range from simple nails trims to prepping your pet for dental and surgical procedures.

At Summerside Vet Hospital we accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Debit and e transfer. If you are coming for a curbside appointment / food or medication pickup payments will be done over the phone via credit card or e transfer. Although we do not offer a billing program we do recommend using PETCARD for any finical needs.
