Our scrap yard superhero Captain Salvage, Dov grew up spending a lot of time in the yard, learning about the scrap metal business from his father, Saul, who was the original owner. After Saul's passing in 2002, Dov proudly took over the family business. Dov continues to run the yard with the same passion that started when he was just a teen, and is a pretty fun guy to work for!

We do not sell anything other than scrap metal. Yes, if you found a part in our yard, you could buy it as scrap metal. However, we do not catalogue specific auto-parts and cannot give you any mechanical advice, sorry. A: We offer pick-up services. Whether pick up is free or not depends on the proximity to our location, the labour required, and the load's size/value.

Capital Salvage can provide scrap metal bins of any size to minimise the effort of collection for your event and ensure all metal donations can be gathered quickly and safely.On event completion, Capital Salvage will remove the bins and weigh them at our depot for payment and recycling. All items are recycled in an environmentally friendly manner.

Please note: Non Ferrous metals are regulated province wide. This means you are required to have a provincial ID, driver's license or business registration to sell to any scrap dealer in BC. We are required by law to keep this information on file for 1 year before all information is destroyed with respect to your privacy.
